Safety & environment

Safe work.
Every site.
Every time.

Electrical work is inherently hazardous. We take that seriously — not as compliance theatre, but as a genuine obligation to our team and yours.

Safety standards

Safe Work Method Statements

Every job type has a documented SWMS. Before any non-routine work begins, the relevant SWMS is reviewed with the on-site team.

Electrical Safe Working procedures

We follow the Electrical Safety Act and the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules. Our technicians are trained to work on and around energised equipment safely and legally.

PPE standards

All technicians are equipped with site-appropriate PPE including arc flash rated equipment for switchgear work. We don't cut corners on personal protection.

Incident reporting

All incidents — including near misses — are reported, investigated, and documented. We treat near misses as learning opportunities, not embarrassments.

Site inductions

We comply with site-specific induction requirements for all sites. No technician enters a new site without completing the required induction and understanding the local emergency procedures.

Emergency procedures

Our technicians are trained in electrical emergency response including how to isolate a circuit, assist a person who has received an electrical shock, and when to call 000.

Environmental responsibility

Waste management

We separate and correctly dispose of electrical waste including fluorescent tubes, batteries, ballasts, and cable offcuts. We do not landfill what can be recycled.

Fleet emissions

We're transitioning our service vehicle fleet to hybrid and EV. In the interim, we carbon-offset our fleet's emissions through a verified Australian program.

LED advocacy

LED upgrade projects reduce the energy consumption of our clients' buildings by up to 70%. We proactively identify LED upgrade opportunities as part of every maintenance audit.

Supplier standards

We source materials from suppliers who meet Australian environmental standards. We don't knowingly use products from suppliers with poor environmental records.
